Building Resistance

This Project was founded to address the civil liberties and human rights issues raised by the actions of the US government in response to the September 11 attacks in New York and Washington, DC. Our work is centered around generating and disseminating information on the implications of recent changes to US law and the actions of the US government as well as building coalitions with other local and national organizations to provide assistance to those most adversely affected.

We are working to facilitate communication between community and faith based organizations, national advocacy groups and legal service organizations to develop a strategy around how to most effectively work together to address this crisis.
